About the Program Excellence Awards

The Aviation Week Program Excellence Awards recognize outstanding program performance that goes beyond technological achievements. The awards highlight leadership, creativity, and disciplined processes.  

Awards will be given to an OEM and Supplier in the following categories:

• System Design and Development
• System Production
• System Sustainment

And one award to the company/team for Special Projects

The winning programs from 2024 were announced on May 13, 2025 at the annual Program Excellence Awards dinner, coinciding with the Aviation Week Network Defense Conference in Washington, D.C.
