Celebrating Excellence in Aerospace & Defense Program Management
The Aviation Week Program Excellence Awards represent the pinnacle of program management achievement in aerospace and defense. Since 2005, this prestigious initiative has recognized teams and leaders who drive innovation, overcome challenges, and deliver exceptional results.
Program Excellence in 2024
In 2024, 35 programs qualified for Program Excellence Awards and 17 submitted nominations. The Evaluation Team selected 13 finalists; from this group winners will be announced at the awards dinner on May 13, 2025, as part of the Defense Conference in Washington, D.C.
Submit Your Nomination for 2025
Nominations are open for 2025 accomplishments. Awards presented at the 2026 Program Excellence Awards.
Here are key dates for this year’s submissions process:
- February 28, 2025: Initial Nominations Deadline
- May 30, 2025: Full Submissions Deadline
- November 15, 2025: Finalists Announced
- May 2026: Program Excellence Awards Dinner, Washington, D.C.
